The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar (UINAM) began a series of celebrations for the 11th FEBI Anniversary by holding a Public Lecture and national seminar on Thursday (12/12/2024) at the FEBI Hall.
Acara yang mengusung tema meneguhkan iman dan akhlak dalam mewujudkan insan akademik yang beradab ini menghadirkan narasumber utama, Prof. K.H. Hamzah Harun Al-Rasyid, Ph.D., Dosen UIN Alauddin Makassar sekaligus Ketua Kopertais Wilayah VIII Makassar.
In his remarks, the Dean of FEBI, Dr. Amiruddin K., M.EI, explained various achievements during his leadership period. Among them, three study programs have achieved superior accreditation, and two professors have been produced in the fields of management science and accounting. We continue to be committed to bringing FEBI to become a superior faculty, not only academically but also in real contributions to society,” he said.

He also reminded that science does not make a person arrogant, as exemplified by classical scholars such as Al-Khawarizmi, who invented algebra while maintaining humility.
This activity was also enlivened by a blood donation social action in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), as a form of concern for the FEBI academic community for others.
The event ended with the handing over of certificates to the speakers and a group photo session, marking the official opening of the 11th FEBI Milad which will be filled with various inspirational activities.
