FEBI Holds AMI 2024 Closing Meeting, Focusing on Evaluation and Quality Improvement

FEBI News – The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) of Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar (UINAM) held a closing meeting for the 2024 Internal Quality Audit (AMI), Tuesday (31/12/2024), in the FEBI meeting room. This activity was attended by faculty leaders, study program leaders, the Quality Assurance Committee (KPM), and the University Quality Audit Team.

In his direction, the Dean of FEBI, Dr. Amiruddin K., M.EI, said that quality audit is an important cycle to monitor and evaluate the achievements of faculties and study programs based on the instruments that have been set by the university. “The results of this monitoring are the basis for evaluation to improve quality, both in the academic field, facilities and infrastructure, and services,” he explained.

Vice Dean I of FEBI, Dr. Rahman Ambo Masse, Lc., M.Ag, emphasized the importance of following up on audit findings as a strategic step in improving the quality of the faculty. “The findings of AMI 2024 must be a benchmark for faculty evaluation. KPM and the Quality Assurance Group (GPM) in the future need to be solid and synergize in following up on these findings,” he said.

Adding this, Vice Dean II, Dr. Murtiadi Awaluddin, provided clarification regarding a number of audit findings that should be the university’s authority. “We will convey findings related to university policies at the upcoming management review meeting,” he said.

This meeting ran optimally and resulted in an agreement to immediately follow up on the findings of the 2024 AMI auditor. All parties are committed to improving and implementing recommendations to improve the quality and competitiveness of the faculty.
