The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business (FEBI) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar recorded brilliant achievements by achieving superior accreditation for its two superior study programs, namely the Accounting Study Program and the Management Study Program. This achievement was marked by the issuance of a Decree (SK) from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT)
The Management Study Program succeeded in achieving superior accreditation with the issuance of Decree Number 5426/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/VIII/2024, recording a score of 366 points. Meanwhile, the Accounting Study Program also received superior accreditation through Decree Number 5427/SK/BAN-PT/Ak.KP/S/VIII/2024 with a higher score, namely 382 points.
This success is the result of the hard work of the study program team who have prepared and summarized the Conversion Supplement Instrument (ISK) for accreditation ratings over the last few months. The ISK conversion process involves a comprehensive assessment of various aspects, starting from the curriculum, infrastructure, to the quality of lecturers and research.
This achievement shows that UIN Alauddin Makassar, especially FEBI, is able to meet the high standards set by BAN-PT in terms of continuously improving the quality of education. This confirms the institution’s commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education.
It is hoped that the superior accreditation achieved by these two study programs will have a significant positive impact. Apart from increasing academic reputation, this achievement also has the potential to expand opportunities for collaboration with various institutions, both at the national and international levels
Furthermore, this superior accreditation is expected to increase public and prospective students’ trust in the quality of education at FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar. This will certainly have an impact on increasing the interest of prospective students to study in these two study programs. With this achievement, FEBI UIN Alauddin Makassar has proven itself to be one of the quality and competitive higher education institutions in Indonesia, especially in the fields of Islamic economics and business. This achievement is also a motivation for other study programs within UIN Alauddin Makassar to continue to improve quality and achieve the highest accreditation.
